100 yard - Match

Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. Start time at 8:00 a.m
Entries:  Entries close 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Pre-registration can be made via email. Participants may be required to sign a Liability Agreement if one is not currently on file at the range.
Match Conditions:

 These matches are open to all US Citizen shooters using shooter provided firearms, equipment, & appropriate safe ammunition. Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) and use of ear & eye protection is mandatory for match events. Sharing equipment is permitted. Will shoot in non-raining weather & temperatures above 30F.
Rifle Class: Any rifle (manual or semi auto) or carbine that is safe, clean, and in good working condition that can shoot 10 rounds of ammunition in 60 seconds. Any sight system may be used, iron sights are preferred. Rimfire rifles many be used.

Equipment needed: Rifle, ammo (at least 60 rounds), clips or magazines, shooting mat or blanket, spotting scope or binoculars, pens, ear & eye protection, sling, adjustment tools, winter jacket or shooting coat.
Course of Fire:

 


 Course of fire will mimic CMP Small Arms Firing School or M1 Carbine Match.
Line calls will be given for each shooting stage. Each shooter will have a 3 minute preparation period prior to each shooting stage: 
10 rounds – Single fire, any position for sighter shots (not for score).
10 rounds – Slow fire prone, single round load. 
10 rounds – Rapid fire prone (in 70 sec) from standing with clip change (2+8, or 5+5).
10 rounds – Rapid fire sitting (in 60 sec) from standing with clip change (2+8, or 5+5).
10 rounds – Slow fire standing, single round load.
Targets: All targets used will be SR-1 targets. Reduced target centers may be used if supplied by shooter.
Ammunition:  Shooter must bring their own ammo. Any safe ammunition-factory or reload (no tracers or armor piercing).
Classification: There are no classifications used or required for this match.
Challenges: There are no challenges in this match. Extra time may be given for malfunction alibis.
