About the Company:
Mitchell Defense was started in 2019 by the owner Nathan Mitchell who saw a need for a better built AR rifle. Nathan Spent 6 years in the Navy as a corpsman with Marine Recon. During that time he learned a lot about guns and grew to understand the need for a more accurate, durable and reliable rifle. After the Navy, Nathan ran a pipe inspection business with his father and brother. He regularly had to take apart and fix equipment in the oil field and learned alot about how to increase efficiency and minimize downtime of equipment using modern manufacturing techniques. After selling that business in 2019 he took the information he learned in the Navy as well as in the oil field and applied it to firearms.
What resulted from that is a weapon system that is designed from the ground up to be more accurate, durable and reliable by utilizing modern manufacturing and top of the line coating technology. Mitchell Defense rifles are built and designed by people that use or have used a rifle in their job. Every rifle that leaves the facility goes through a final QC question of "would you trust this rifle with your life".
