SASS Cowboy Action Match will consist of 5 or 6 stages of fire. All SASS rules, scoring, and safety protocols will be in effect.
Gates open at 8:00am, registration begins at 8:00am, mandatory Cowboy Safety meeting on the range at 9:00am. First-time cowboy shooters must pre-register with match officials at least one week before the date of any match.
Matches will be completed by 3:00pm.
Shooters must have the necessary guns for Cowboy Action Shooting: i.e., Two (2) Single Action revolvers, a lever action rifle chambered in a center-fire pistol cartridge, and a SASS-compliant Shotgun. The only exceptions will be for any pre-registered new shooters or those under 18, who have been assigned a Cowboy Mentor by the match officials.
